Born Evangeline Rose Gil Eigenmann on 21 June 1963. Cherie Gil was a Filipino actress and is the daughter of Filipino singer-actors Eddie Mesa and Rosemarie Gil, and sister of fellow actors, Michael de Mesa and Mark Gil.
